In this four-day, hands-on workshop you will learn how to create traditional-appearing images. This is not a workshop to teach you glitzy tricks or graphic applications of Photoshop. Working on both class-provided and your own images, the emphasis will be to do in Photoshop what has traditionally been done in the darkroom. Through step-by-step instruction and repetition, you will learn cropping, exposure control, contrast and color control, sharpening images, dodging and burning the professional way plus converting color images to black & white.
JO BRENZO majored in Photography through the Fine Arts Dept. of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has taught and exhibited her own work throughout the U.S. Europe and Latin America. She has been working with digital images for the past several years, but continues to have a strong commitment to creating traditional photographic images.
