Palms Sunday

 

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Semana Santa. It is a happy celebration.
First thing in the morning artisans weave and sell crosses, crowns and other items from fresh palm fronds. An impromptu, colorful bizarre occurs in front of the Parroquia, and celebrates Jesus’s triumphal arrival in Jerusalem.
